A wonderful place...I've eaten there about 5 times and have always had great food, very friendly service and enjoy it very much. I love the variety of the menu both lunch and dinner. It is great to have a place such as this in a a small community like West Jefferson. It's the best resturaunt for 50 miles around. I highly recommend it to everyone. It's great to get such quality food and great atmostphere in a small town. The owners, Barb & Nigel are simply wonderful, friendly people. Enjoy!!!
I have visited Frasiers several times over the last few years. It is nothing to write home about. I have received cold food, uncooked fish, (sent it back twice and still wasn't done). The service is fair but if you share a plate with someone there is a 3.00 charge. Can't believe they do this during lunch. Also didn't know there was a charge for sharing a plate until I got the bill.
Also ,Christmas breakfast with Santa is way played up to much. The food is served buffet style and limited on the the food choices. And on top of it all Santa doesn't even eat with you and the children. He is setting in another room waiting for you to take a picture with him for a small fee. No conversation or enjoyment for the children like this.
After spending a 3-day weekend in West Jefferson, I can say that I have eaten in several of the area's restaurants. Fraser's was the best. The food was the best in town, and I was pleased with some of the healthier options. Lunch is affordable, but dinner is a bit overpriced. The best thing about Fraser's was the service. Fraser's service far exceeds the quality of service of any other place in the area (with the possible exception of T Gray's). Overall, Fraser's gets an A-, with the only negative point being Overall Value.
This place is great for lunch. The food is wonderful and its not too pricy. I'm not crazy about the dinner menu, it has some strange dishes on it and its a lot higher at night. Overall a great place to eat!
