I'm leaving home to view the beautiful mountians on my way to Carolina Barbecue. Everytime I go, I leave saying, Its the best barbecue and I can't wait to come back. Tim H. Forest City, NC

Wonderful place to eat along with great service and unreal hospitality. I used to say that the best Barbeque comes from Texas, but this place definitely makes me rethink that. The only barbecue I will eat outside of Texas comes from Carolina Barbeque in Newland! -JG Houston, TX

Gooood Eats!!! Pork is king with great sides. Try the sauce too! Next time I'm in the area, I'll make sure I make it to Newland for this place. Jim C. Plano, TX

I saw the BBQ sign and just had to try! The pork was very good, nice smoke taste. They had both East Car. sauce as well as catsup based sauce. Hushpuppies were good, too. I can't wait to return.

Great food and great prices!

We eat at this restaurant alot from the bank where I work and they will work as hard as need be to please you with their food. I know they will make something for you the way you want it if you just ask them to. My favorite thing to get there is their chicken tenders. Recently they changed the recipe and Jeanette told me you can ask them to make them the old way and they will--at no extra charge. I also love their hot fudge sundae--it is more like a brownie smothered in chocolate sauce with ice cream and it is SOOO good!
