Chestnut Tree Inn Cherokee, Cherokee

This was a really nice hotel.I loved the staff.The resteraunt was alittle bit on the yuck side but I still give the hotel a thumbs up.It has a pool,and also a playground beside the pool.If you ever want to rent cabins,there are cabin rentals right beside the hotel on the mountanside.

Very nice, clean hotel. Excellent service! It even has a cute gift shop in the lobby. Everyone was smiling all the time and extremely nice. And the restaurant...Wow. I can't say enough about The Chestnut Tree Restaurant. It was the best food we had on our trip! And the wait staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We walked in close to closing time and they took the time to make sure we had what we wanted and never rushed us out of the place. As a matter of fact, they kept trying to give us more food! The buffet looked very nice, but we opted to order off the menu. I had the house specialty, parmesan-dill crusted salmon, and all I can say is that it is the BEST I've had anywhere. My husband opted for a marinated chicken salad that they built to order, adding to or leaving off according to his preferences. I want to go back to Cherokee just so I can eat at this restaurant.

Absolutely loved the dining area,the pool area was very relaxing,and Sara Birds massage room was simplely amazing,she is a very wonderful and amazing person.Can not wait to come back and stay at Holiday Inn in Cherokee NC.

This hotel was less than acceptable. It was more like a Motel 6 than a Holiday Inn. They didn't give us the room we requested, the photos are not acurate depictures of the hotel. After paying for our trip through Yahoo! we were still charged for the room! We even showed the clerk our confirmation letter and proof of payment. Be advised that this hotel should definitely be your very last resort.
