Cornucopia Restaurant, Cashiers

Tonight, I was disappointed with my meal. We have three children and had a babysitter tonight. We are on a family vacation. We picked this restaurant and I was excited to be out with my husband. His meal was ok. My salad was served on a plastic 6 inch plate. The tea glasses were brown plastic with no ice. I ordered a seafood pasta with broccoli florets. I got one single floret. The dish was suppose to have angel hair pasta but it was thick spaghetti that was watery. The scallops in my dish tasted like fake crab meat and the shrimp were tough. But wat really made me made was our server only came back to the table to bring our check. She never check back with us. I know it is better not to complain it makes life simple. My expectations are higher than most but I was taught early on about customer satisfaction. Maybe this was just not my night but I think the owners need to raise the bar higher.

Awesome awesome place. Quaint, great atmosphere and food. We just happened upon this on a day outing from Highlands out looking at waterfalls, just a mile off the main road. Try the eggs benedict, they are to die for. If this wasn't over 5 hours from my home, I would go here every weekend, it was that good. Awesome mountain setting, quaint town. Will definately go here again. Food fast, great and friendly waitstaff and inexpensive!!!

Everytime we visit our relatives who have homes in Highlands, we have to eat at Cornucopia. The food is delicious-nice variety and love the outdoor feeling of dining, We will be there again in the fall. Highly recommended. The salads are wonderful and soups too. Hard to beat the cheeseburger
