Little Princes Restaurant, Cherokee

Very good. Stayed a week in the Smoky Mountian area and it was the best place we ate at.

Myself and 4 of my friends went to Cherokee the 8th through the 11th in August of 2011. We just happened to go there the first time on tuesday for lunch. My goodness I was THRILLED to find fried ramps and potatoes, greens, pickled beets, baby pickled corn, and fried summer squash among the things in the buffett and it just doesn't get better than that! Now that is what you call down home cooking! It was so good and so filling that I didn't get hungry for the rest of the day. Our waitress was Amy and she was very nice and kept checking on us to see if we needed refills or anything. We liked it so much we went back again the next day. If I ever get the chance to go back again, I will definately go to the Little Princess.

I would not eat here. If you value your money then run as fast as you can. The buffet was not really a buffet, very few veggies and dry meat. I had a bowl of pinto beans with cornbread which was on the menu....not very tasty. What really got me was the price of a small bowl of pinto beans....$5.99. Can you imagine my surprise, I ate beans for $6.00, I guess this would be considered a Very Pricey meal. The lady who was the cashier was not friendly, I don't think she has smiled for many years. Our waitress poured our tea and disappeared. I would have also if I had not had to pay for the meal. The restaurant was very hot inside, I suppose that is a way to get customers in and out real fast!! Needless to say, I will not be going back!! Granny's is less than 5 minutes away.

We visited this restaurant in June 2010. I wouldn't want to eat here again, but my husband didn' think it was so bad. It wasn't a very clean atmosphere and the food was overpriced. It cost us $20 plus tip for lunch. We had 2 burger plates & tea. My husband didn't appreciate being asked how much tip he'd like to leave on his card.

Bad Serviece, Stale Food and Horrible Restroom!!! We had lunch here at 1pm-2pm 09/01/08. The waitress totally ignored us! My husband and I didn't get a glass of water, and they even tired to make any excuse. The vagetables and fruits are not fresh, while the only special food is fried viscera (gizzard and liver of chicken, I guess). In the restroom, there is a so noisy hand-drier, just like a battleplane. One of the door-lock is not work and the other's toilet paper was sticked in the holder. We were so disappointed, but they don't mind. Oh~yes, I forgot they are already used to customers' complaints.

my family and i have eaten here many times. the owners have remodeled and expanded, it looks great! food is great as well, home cooking- large buffet and salad bar as well as many menu choices!!! Yummy!!! i would recommend the little princess rest. to anyone visiting the cherokee area.
