I love sharp shooters. The staff is awesome, the bouncers are fun to BS with, Great food, and fun times. All these other people are tripping on something. Yea it could take some time to get your order.... but they are busy and short staffed.
Personally, I've never had a problem at Sharpshooters. I actually still go from time to time. I love the kareokee nights. It's a good place to relax and kick back. Only 1 heads up... If you'd like a seat, you'd have to get there earlier than most of the crowd comes in.
As for the staff, they're pretty good at the food and drinks they make. Waitresses / Waiters, tend to take a little while but they can't help that they're stretched so thin when it gets crowded. Just have some patience with them. It really goes a long way there. Don't be affraid to make aquaintances with the staff either. Most of all, have a good time. It's usually a very friendly atmosphere. ^_^
This location has seen quite a few local businesses in the past, sharpshooters has managed to stick around for a bit. They air the UFC pay per view fights and other sporting events. Sharpshooters is mostly a USMC hang out at night. I've been a few times and only ever bumped into locals once... Being one myself I often bump into people I know.
Their wings are KILLER and their ranch is stellar. The bartenders mix well and so long ad you are aggressive at the bar, you'll have an easy time finding service. Pool tables, juke box, and MANY tv screens, a few LARGE projection screens to watch the fights on.
I'll go back. If nothing else, for the wings. :)
I had my 60th birthday party in the private room. The food was good even if I didn't feel like I got as much I had ordered but the service by my bartender was terrible. The whole time he acted like he wanted to be anywhere but there and I couldn't find him half the night to order anything. I talked to the general manager after the party which was May 16th, 2009 and as of today June 8th, 20009 haven't heard a word from her. I feel if the management cared they would at least return my calls. I feel your taking a risk to book parties there. You may have an ellexcent night or you might be sitting all night waiting for a drink.
I went to Sharp Shooters and tried to order drinks and was blatenly ignored when trying to order. My husband waited a good 30 min before they would finally wait on him for drinks. We were talking with a bouncer who openly admitted he loves working there because him and his other friend that are bouncers there, enjoy the fights they get into. Speaking of fights, we witnessed 3 in a few hours of being there to the point, our table was flipped over on us and drinks spilling in our laps. By far the rudest staff and unsafe environment. Worst place I have ever been to.
ALways a good time when Karaoke is on. Mind your p's and q's because if you get out of hand they will not hesitate to toss you out on your rumpus. the staff is actually really cool once you het to know them and the food is pretty good. They have live pay per view and live music every now and again. Probably the best sports bar in town.
