Went there while visiting Family and I must say it was the worst Red Lobster ever!!! The food wasnt fully cooked the lobster tail was a miniature the garlic shrimps i ordered turned out to be a skewer without garlic and my daughter s mussels had burnt veggies in, before we even finished our dish the check was on the table
I won't ever go back. I live only a couple hours away and drive to Jacksonville occasionally to see my fiance'. I don't know anyone here and I went to this red lobster twice. Both times they treated me the same way. I thought the first time that I went, perhaps it was a bad day,but no, they're rude! I went there by myself for lunch seeing I was staying in a hotel near by and my fiance' couldn't meet me for lunch that day. The first time the manager looked at me and said, can I help you? I said, I am here for lunch. Very rudely he says and you're all alone? I said, yes. I had gotten crab legs that day, but while I was eating the manager came over and flirted. He was an old man and said to me, let me guess you're married to a marine. I asked how did he know, he said by my ring. I have a 1/2 carat diamond that cost 2 k.Then he went on to say that he would love to give me a job if I am not already working. I wanted to eat my lunch in peace, not have some old man hitting on me. The crab legs were good but they weren't worth the price. I went back last week and thought I would go to the bar so I could avoid being treated like a freak for going all alone. OMG!! There was some guy sitting at the table that worked there in the bar area and he says to me,are you alone? I said, yes I am. he says and you're wanting to eat here? I said, yep! he says to me, wouldn't you rather take your food to go? I said, NO. I am a paying customer so who do these ppl think they are??He asks, so do I need to get the bartender for you?I was like., yeah. (i am sorry I am bothering you all from your outside smoke breaks, but I am helping to pay you.)Okay so the lady brings me cold biscuits . Never before have I ever been brought cold biscuits . The service was super fast though. My lunch was good but the hostess came over to me and asked if I would like some more tarter sauce. Refills were hard to get and the waitress acted like I was a huge inconvenience. I then realized, OMG...the hostess is even looking at me like I am so strange for going alone to eat. At least she was nice enough to offer me tarter sauce that I was out of. So then the waitress comes over and says to me, do you want a to go box? I said, no actually I don't because I am still eating. She then says ok, I will get you a drink to go. Okay, I got the hint, they were wanting me out. I took her up on her offer. Then I had my two different checking account debit cards mixed up and I handed her the wrong card (which mistakes happen), and she had the nerve to say to me after saying it was declined, did you actually call and activate it? Like I was an idiot!!!I apologized and told her, I am sorry I don't have my different card numbers memorized and it was a mistake. She never said, ok, apologized or nothing. Also they did over cook my flounder and shrimp. I told my fiance' about my experience and he said, women in this town normally aren't alone because most cheat when their men go away. Still, you would think they would see some good females go alone to lunch! Apparently not by how I was treated both times. I'll never go to this one again. If you're alone, I highly recommend you don't go either or you'll be treated like a freak and like a burden for not making them a whole lot of money.
I have to say this was my worst dining experience ever, went for a lobster and both mine and my dates were overcooked and chewy, not only were there flies buzzing around the entire time we were there, our waiter ignored us for most of the night and farted in front of us.Needless to say we wont be eating anymore farm raised garbage from red lobster.
The service is great...they are absoluty the friendliest. The food is delicious. We never have to wait forever for our food. It is the best place for quality service and dinning in the area. I can't think of another place I would rather go for a fine night out on the town.
