Best lasagna in New Bern!
Franco is the son of owner- and slightly overworked operator/chef- Alfonzo. The lasagna there is prepared individually in a hot terra cotta container, almost a pound of it, and it is devine. There's smoking in the back room. Prices are most reasonable, so we go often. These are real Italians doing real Italian foods, so don't expect any rushed preparation. Good food takes time, and they prepare it with love. Ask for Alfonzo, and if he's not swamped with work, he'll come out and chat with you. Friendly folks! (Getting to be a rarity.)
