Eric's Grille, Southport

This place is in a shopping center and you may not notice it, but it is WONDERFUL! Eric is there in the mornings serving breakfast, and he comes out and takes time to talk to each customer! The food is true home cooking! Excellent grits!!! They only accept cash but they are more than worth it!!! We try to have breakfast here at least once a week!

Wife and I stopped in Eric's for breakfast. it was busy, but there were still places to sit along the grill area. Ordered at the register and sat down waiting on our meal. Wife had ordered the smoked sausage, eggs and cheese sandwich. I had country ham, egg and cheese biscuit. Watched Eric cook our eggs, he even turned and asked us if we wanted salt and pepper on the eggs. Sandwiches were delivered to us and they were both great!! There was more eggs and meat on these than a normal plate of food. I would recommend this place to everyone. Service was quick, friendly, hot and serviced with pride. Eric talked to all the customers (lots of regulars) and the staff followed his lead. We will go by this place next time we are in the area to try the hamburgers out. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. MIght give it a 5 then...

Hands down the BEST burgers in Brunswick county! The food is fresh, homemade, and fast. The coleslaw is unmatched. I highly reccomend you try this place, you will not regret it!

Burgers are top notch, and by far the closest you can get to home-made in town. Excellent restaurant.
