McCurdy's on Moonlight Bay, Atlantic Beach

My husband and I went to try out this restaurant, as we were having out rehearsal dinner there in a month. The service was bad, but the food was pretty good. We sat out on the deck and during our dinner, a bus boy knocked my phone into the water. The restaurant refusted to take any responsibility for it and blamed me for leaving it on the table where he could knock it into the ocean. It was the most expensive dinner I've ever eaten. $93 + $575 for a new phone. We had our rehearsal dinner there a month later, because nothing else was available. The service was incredibly slow and the food was poor. I was so disappointed.

This place was horrible. Never agian will we make the mistake of eating at Mc Curdy's. Emily, our server was so unprofessional, and rude.

I had heard a lot of good reviews about McCurdy's so I figured I would try it out. I got fried shrimp, french fries, and corn on the cob. The shrimp and fries were excellent. They didn't give me very many shrimp for the price though. I was served refridgerator cold corn on the cob. Then I was brought another peice and that to was cold. The waitress took the two peices to the kitchen to prove that the corn was in fact cold. I was then served a third peice that was still cold in some parts. By the way these were the small corn on the cobs. The waitress was really good. We were given a coupon for a free dessert or appitizer in the place of the cold corn on the cob. I won't be back though.

This restaurant was great. We sat on the deck overlooking the boats. We could not have asked for better weather. We had a lovely waitress and the food was good. There were not alot of patrons at the time, so our service was exceptional.

My husband and I ran away to McCurdy's after we got married on the beach 6.7.8 The food was wonderful, our waitress (on her FIRST day ever waiting tables) was a breath of fresh air, the manager/owner gave us free dessert when he found out it was our wedding day.. Not just any free dessert, I'm not talking a scoop of ice cream.. He gave us the most decadent rich chocolate whipped crisp treat, pure bliss. He even wrapped it us nice for us to take back to our hotel. Now one year later we will return this weekend for our anniversary! Cant wait! What a wonderful little restaurant!

To the owner that poured me that stif citon and cranberry and who also bought my oyster appetizer. Thank you! We truely enjoyed your resturant and I look forward to coming back and seeing you soon!. To everyine else...this is a place to eat. Please go by and try thier excellent food and drinks. THey are always happy to serve you with a smile. Take car my friends.

I am a member of a local club and we host our quarterly meetings at McCurdy's. I couldn't help but write a good review for this establishment because of all the negative comments. We usually have parties of at least 40 people and we have always had great meals and wonderful service at McCurdy's. They are well organized every time and the menu items they choose are delicious. I have also been there on many occasions with my wife and the food was excellent and the service was very good. The sunsets on the deck are the best on the beach during the summer and we love the live music on Wednesdays. They even have a bar menu so if you are not looking to spend a lot of money you can just order a sandwich. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This was the worst food and service that i have every had. I would not even have fed the food to my dog. The prices were high for what you got and the quality of the food. Service was very slow. sat for 15 minutes before even getting our drink order placed and then had to wait 20 minutes to get our drinks. I was then told that i could not get the beer that i wanted becasue the keg was not working so she recommended a different beer and it was very bad. took about 1 hour to get our food and it was the worst food that i had every had. I would not send my worse enemy to this place.

My family and I frequent this restaurant on a regular basis when we are at the beach. The service is great and the food is excellent. They are a very family friendly establishment. The owner and manager always treat our kids very good. GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD.
