Not the home cooked southern Mexican food we are used to... flour tortillas were store bought ... enchiladas were not baked just had sauce poured over the top... the only thing that stood out as good were the chips, dip and margaritas.
Never eat there again... It was my son's birthday and I was trying to surprise him with a dessert. Next thing I know, the waitress came to the table asking when would you like your dessert? (Keep in mind, I explained to her it was a surprise when I pulled her aside to order) Also, didn't bring everything we ordered. I had to ask for the rest of the meal.
The service was better when they were across from BoJangles.
I don't like El Zarape's version of Mexican food. There are a few mexican places I'll eat, but not El Zarape. The meat seasoning tastes funny. Anyway, the one here at Atlantic Beach is being rebuilt and should be up and running by summer.
Usually ate at one of their other location but have been here when at the beach area. It was good mexican food and fast. Staff were friendly and did not mess around.
mexican food is one of my families favorite foods, and we loved this place. Set on beautiful Atlantic beach, this wonderfull two story mexican restaurant provides grwat food, excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere for you to dine in.
