New in town and was invited to go to this place. Food was excellent. Love the art decor, warm atmosphere. For a small town this is more like a five star restaurant, very classy. I highly recommend you should try the Duck Breast
On Crab Risotto, I Like mine cook a bit...it jusst melt in your mouth. , their Salmon in merlo sauce yummy!!Service is excellent. For a small town, this place is way to the top of Five star!!!
Highly recommended!!Smoke free and very clean. Enjoy their wine selection and the band after dinner hours.
My husband and I went to BWG. The service was terrible. We were only waited on three times in two hours. Once to take our order, twice to bring the food after the longest wait I have ever experienced, and third to bring the bill. The food was OK nothing spectacular. Their mixed drinks are terrible. If you want to go somewhere for three hours and receive mediocre food and poor service this is the place. We will never return.
I read the previous reviews before going and BWG sounded great. I stayed at the Fairfield in Lumberton and the worker at the front desk recommended it as well and gave me a coupon for a free draft beer. Of course I went. The restaurant looked great. Clean. BWG had decent selection on draft and prices were reasonable. $3.50 for a Red Hook draft. I ordered the the BWG Signature Pasta at 800pm (tip off for game 5 b/w Houston and Utah). At 945 I asked for my tab b/c my food had yet to come. Mind you there was only 20 people in the entire place. My tab came with the food on it. I told the bartended that the food never came and to take it off. His response was that I should have said something. The manager took it off but avoided me. I would give the service a ZERO. Atmosphere a 4 out of 5. The food everyone else looked better than average. I witnessed a couple at the hostess stand stand there for over 10 min. It was my only visit...but since my food never came...I would have to say I wouldn't go back.
Looking for something new in town to try, go check out black water grille. I love their burgers but cannot resit the shrimp and grits. My son loves the live band and we both think the decor is unique. guess that is the enginer in me. Go try them at lunch too they carry a good selection for the lunch menu.
