Legendary Food, Legendary Service(R), and Legendary Fun! At Texas Roadhouse, we take pride in everything we do from hand-cut steaks and fall-off-the-bone ribs, to some pretty sweet margaritas. And we do it all with one goal 4 to give your family a place to go for great food and good times at a fantastic price.
On July 4th, 2012, my wife and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.
Texas Roadhouse had been my choice for years, but this evening has changed that and we won t be back.
It was later in the evening and was not busy at all. We ordered salads with our meal and waited an unreasonable amount of time and received a salad that was far from fresh.
We said as much to our waitress but opted not to get another.
After sometime another waitress drops our order off without asking if we needed anything such as Steak Sauce,...etc
I cut into my steak, which was very much charred...my wife s was the same, to find that it was barely warm.
When our waitress FINALLY showed back up I asked that it be taken off my bill as my 50 minute wait for a charred and cold steak was unacceptable.
I hadn t touched it other than cutting into it.
When I asked to see the manager, I think his name was Kevin, he took his sweet time making it to our table, just to tell me that my steak was piping hot when it was sent back and pretty much dismissed us. His last words to us were Are we done
To say the least, I had to bite my tongue and just let him walk away.
His version of piping hot is quite different from mine, as is his version of a fresh salad.
After years of enjoyable meals at The Texas Roadhouse we won t be back. Not so much because of the lackluster service and meal but because of the managers attitude.
So yeah, Mr Manager....we are done.
What a deal. Visited my nephew this week and he insisted that this was the best in town because they were the best. Your kids can dance on the tables and no one will know. My kind of place. The real secret is that the food is outstanding and the price is fantastic. Will go back and tell all in Virginia!
Wonderful. The food is terrific. My husband and I had the baby blossom (blooming onion) as an appetizer. It was big enough to be an entree all by itself. I had the Caesar salad and their legendary chili as side dishes with my half slab of ribs. There was plenty left over when I was full. My husband also had the half slab of ribs with green beans and applesauce. The sweet tea was really good and the service was remarkable. Our waitress' name was Allie. She was very attentive to our table and quick with the tea refills--which I needed because the chili will take your breath away! :) Our whole experience was wonderful and I can't think of a thing that could have made it better. Our check came to $30.27. Amazing price for the amount of food we had! Thanks to Texas Roadhouse for making my birthday dinner so perfect!
New to the area, and this was one of the best places I've found so far. Great ribs, and steak, and I wasn't going to eat the rolls... low carb, ya know?... was one bite, and I ended up eating a bunch of them. Top notch, and I like the spread for the rolls... like a cinnamon butter? Yeah... I'll be going back.
