This is our fav sushi rest in fayetteville. Tommy, the owner and chief sushi creator, is both gracious and charming. The food is very fresh and the prices are reasonable for sushi...it ain't cheap anywhere, folks! the restaurant is always clean and the servers are charming. The place is always packed so get there early!!!

Good Sushi, everything I had was fresh. I think the prices are pretty reasonable too. I only had the sushi and some rolls, I didn't try any of the dinners though.

I have gone to Sakura once for lunch. The ambiance is very good, but the price is too high, especially for the quality. I got nigirzushi (eel, yellowtail, and tuna). I have had better sushi/nigrizushi in Fayettevile for less and the quality was equal. In fact, I paid about the same amount in San Diego, at the best sushi place I have ever eaten at in my life. If you are ever out there, it is on Coronado. The name of the place is Yummy Sushi. They make a Shrimp Tempura that you cannot get here. They put the shrimp inside the roll, then cover with yellowtail, tuna, salmon, and another fish (can't remember) and cover with volcano/lava sauce. It is excellent, the soft texture of the fish with the crunchy shrimp is super. Enough fish for 12 pieces and only around $15.

I used to really enjoy eating at Sakura, but lately they have really gone down hill. The quality of their Sushi and service have both declined. I used to recommend this place to people that wanted to get decent Sushi in Fayetteville, but I can no longer do so. For what they serve now, it is overpriced. On top of everything else their Sushi Chef's (if you can call them that) are not even of Asian decent anymore.

I've dined at Sakura twice. But I prefer to go to Matsuri. I've been to many Japanese/Sushi restaurants and actually worked at one, and I can say that their sushi is not really the best. I agree with everyone that their rice is very sticky and the sushi doesn't taste fresh. The servers were friendly, but they tried to hurry us when we were eating (which was very rude) cause they close around the afternoon. If you are looking for a Japanese/Sushi restaurant around Fayetteville, I recommend going to Matsuri, which is 2 minutes away form Sakura on Skibo Road next to the furniture store, where they have real Japanese people making your sushi.

I can not be the only one that thinks the food was not fresh there. We had Sushi and chicken teriyaki. The chicken was good, the rice too sticky and the sushi was not fresh. The rice was very dry and the crab tasted as if it had layed out for a while. The staff is friendly. Place is very small and could redecorate.Plates and tables were clean but this is not the best sushi I ever had. There is a better place in Sanford.

Best place for sushi in the Fort Bragg area. Very nice customer service, very clean, and they have a good variety of sushi to choose from. The fish taste fresh and the udon are as good as the restaurants in the San Francisco Japan town area. It is reasonably priced for the quality. The only thing i got a problem with is that seating is limited and so it gets packed if you don't get there early for lunch.

verrryy good sushi! i disagree with some who say they are pricey. if it was cheaper you would have a cheaper quality of food! so keep that in mind! i go to sakuras at least once a week! and will continue to do so as long as i'm here in fayetteville!

This place is pretty good. There's another place called Matsuri on Skibo that has much more reasonable prices and the sushi is just as good. If Sakura would come down off their prices a little it would be a better experience. The wait staff is friendly and all that good stuff. Overall a nice place, just a little pricy.

Sakura is my favorite place for sushi. Best I have had all over the US. Lunchtime service can be a bit slow but it does get pretty busy. I will keep going back as long as I live here and will recommend it to anyone.
