Great restaurant close to downtown. The food and drinks are great and their prices are reasonable as well.

300 East is my absolute favorite restaurant in Charlotte. Everything I've ever eaten there has been fabulous. The atmosphere is great and it is very reasonably priced.

It is so great!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/5/09
It is such a neat experience at 300 East. It's in an old home which gives it so much character. The food is out of this world. The prices are quite reasonable for what you are getting!

excellent
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/26/08
300 East is located in an old house with dim lighting. I went with my husband during his last trip to Charlotte. They seem to serve up eclectic and traditional American cuisine here. They have an acorn squash soup that is out of this world good! Service is excellent and prices are good.

Charlotte Original
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/6/07
Wonderfull Charlotte original. I am a rare person in this city - a native and I grew up in Dilworth!! 300 east has been around for many years and never ceases to deliver great food, even better service and it is one of Charlottes best romantic night out with the wife spots. Why would you give you money to a chain in exchange a for "so-so same food as everywhere else" experience when a real dining gem is tucked away in Dilworth

One of my favorites
By Liz, 10/24/07
I loved the ambiance of this resturant. How it was once a victorian house and it has been turned into a resturant. One of my favorite dishes was the salmon! Absolutely deliscious!! I highly recommend this place.

Don't miss this! It is Southern Comfort
By pop wally 209, 6/30/07
300 East is one of those places that should be in every southern city. It is price valued and excellent cuizine. We found it by chance and want everyone else to know about it. We are planning the Sunday brunch tomorrow.

it's gone soooooo downhill
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/26/07
this used to be my favorite restaurant---from the service to the food to the ambience to the price. No longer. Not sure what happened----maybe they lost their chef----but the quality of food over the last year has taken a nose dive. The service used to be impeccable----now you can stand at the door for 10 minutes with 5 or 6 waitstaff/hosts/hostesses walking by and not be acknowledged. The waiters/waitresses are average at best---lots of turnover there----so there's obviously an issue. Sad to say, what used to be an excellent dining experience is no longer. You're just as well off going to one of the thousands of chain restaurants in town....
