What A Burger Drive INS, Mooresville

My husband and I love the What-A-Burger, he has been eating there since they opened and we go every chance that we get. We wished that they would put one in Statesville. My husband loves the witch-doctors, mixed softdrinks with onions,pickles and lemons. We think that the prices are reasonable you get great food and its not like the fast foods that you get now a days thats loaded with mayo and you have to wipe it off just so that you can eat it. L.E. "Water Burger" (as the locals pronounce it) Should be shut down and bulldozed. I hear all the locals braging about how good it is so I tried it. It's a rundown crappy old building where they serve hamburgers made with fake meat. Mickey D's is better anyday...

Ripoff city. The food was OK, but the place only takes cash, and starts "greeding" at the ATM (conveniently inside) with a $2.75 slam for the privilege of eating there on their "cash only" terms. The folks don't seem to know the prices of their food if you order something truly foreign (like a bacon cheeseburger for instance). After so many years (decades?), this seems pretty darn unbelievable, but in this way, they don't have to tell you how expensive it is until the shocking bill comes and you're too embarassed to send it back. If you don't mind paying about 100% too much for "OK" food, "OK" service and paying for cash only inconvenience, this is your place! I won't go back. I'll stick with the Golden Corral or jeez, just about anywhere else for the $$$. What-a-scam is more like it!

the food used to be much better curb isnt as good we all miss jane,the astmosphere is better since the manager that used to yell at his wife left and i think cookout has a better value for the buck and they need to wear gloves.

I love the What-A-Burger. The Best people work there and the food is great. People need to understand that What-A-Burger is not a fast food restaurant! All food is made fresh to order!! I lived in Mooresville, NC all my life and going to the What-A-Burger was the biggest part of the day.

I am 49 years old and have been eating WHAT-A-BURGER for at least 47 years. its the same crew i have seen thru-out the years.the food remains the same as it has always. i like the new parking lot look. nothing like a witch doctor.

Best burgers ever! Old fashioned drive-in...they've recently started the curb service again...."Jane" worked there for a long time doing curb service....they've improved the parking too. The french fries are crispy and big....cherry/lemon sundrops....witchdoctor drinks...MMMMMMM...it's super.

This place is an old fashioned drive in type place with old fashioned real hamburgers. None of these burgers with partial meat and soybean. It is all meat. This place is great.I found it in 2000 and I look forward to getting to go there ever since.

You have to try the Local Original Hamburger joint called the What-A-Burger!!! This is a 1960's drive-in restaurant. The Best Hamburger in town.
