First the good things: The view IS spectacular. TRULY. The corner of the outside deck that takes up the entire picture posted in local papers accurately depicts the seating, with tall and short tables and beautiful bright chairs. Outside seating is available both in the sun and in the shade. The barbecue ordered by friend was good, for what seems to be the going rate for venues on the water during the lunch hour. Now. For the rest: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. I must agree with the previous description of the service - RUDE AND CRUDE. I believe our waitress had been drinking (she might have to in order to get through the day in that dive). Servers discuss clientele openly and loudly (all negative). Worst calamari I have EVER had (and I ve had TONS of calamari in MANY restaurants). Small portion, 90% breading, tough inside, overcooked in OLD oil. NO DRAFT BEER - bottles or CANS (that should have alerted me immediately) only. Women s bathroom frankly SCARY. Person next to us ordered an omelet - it looked like roadkill and didn t smell much better: flat, smelling bad, and oozing grease. I think the only reason she could eat it was that she was drinking an overpriced glass of wine. Bad attitude from servers began the moment we walked in - we were expected to know our way around despite never having been there, and were crassly dismissed for not knowing. I was starving, so ate most of the calamari - 7.5 hours later, I m still belching the old grease. My GREVIOUS mistake. Go elsewhere for a meal. I also wish negative stars or even zero could be awarded.
