Mayflower Seafood Restaurant, Rocky Mount

Worst customer service experience over the phone ever! Had to call twice for them to fax us a menu. Then i typed up 1 page of multiple food order s and faxed it. Than i call to make sure they received fax. and was told that the manager was busy and she could not get to the fax machine.Iwas told to give her the order over the phone after i had spet 5 minutes typing these orders seperatley to make it simple for every body.Discussed I said you just lost 4 orders because your manager dont have time to get order from fax machine. Then i called back later asked to speak to the manager and the same girl said is this the same man who faxed us?i said yes she said the manager opened the office no i got your fax.By then it was to late every one decided just to leave and go eat at Madison Seafood. Iasked to speak to the manager about this.the girl asked the manager and the manager told her she was too busy to talk to me and told me to call back later.Itold the girl to make sure that she tore up the fax order and to tell her manager when she was not too busy that this company will never call or darken mayflowers doors again ever. and anyone else i can convince.The manager had a chance to call me because my phone # was on the fax order no star rating on customer service via management

I decided to use Mayflower to have my wedding reception. Only for a few family members, sisters and brothers. We booked the party room 2 months in advance. We checked the day before the wedding to make sure we still had revervations. We were assured we had the party room date and time. After the marriage we (the family) went to the Mayflower only to find out the party room was booked for another party and we would have to share the room The other party was already there and 1/2 of our family had to sit in the resturant. I addressed this issue and the management acted like it was not a big deal. This was my wedding day, my family could not join the party..maybe this was not a big deal to them but it was to me. By the way the food was ordered and it took along time. I had to share my day with strangers... They did not even say they were sorry.

THE FOOD IS GOOD AT MAYFLOWER,I GO THERE ALOT. THEY GIVE YOU ALOT OF FOOD FOR YOUR BUCK. I'VE FALLING IN LOVE WITH THERE CHICKEN TENDERS ALSO,THERE SO BIG AND MOIST. I RECOMMED YOU GET SHRIMP AND CHICKEN TENDERS COMBO.

This restarant was a place that we had stumble on from taking my grandmother back to Rock Hill South Carolina. We had made a wrong turn and ended up there. when we got there we rudly looked at the peoples food and started drooling. Everyone ordered the Admirals Feast,and them orded another for the road back to D.C. I love this place, and the service, I gave it five stars. We have nothing like this back here in D.C. Even RL isn't that good(one star), get it! Point blank we love you guys, and will travel from D.C anytime.

You can't ask for better food for the price. Oh, and be ready to ask for a doggy bag cause you can't eat it all.

before going our seperate ways after a family gathering i had the pleasure of visiting a the mayflower seafood restaurant. i was impressed. being a restaurant manager from new orleans i know how things should be. this is a sleepy little eatery that was big on execution. the service was friendly and timely , the food was plentiful and , the check tiny. overall the value was like none ive ever seen and the experience will definatly bring me back again.

The amounts given are huge for the money.

I was a faithful Mayflower customer until the Shrimp Boat opened. The service, food, and ambiance can not be touched by Mayflower. Mayflower is average after visiting the Shrimp Boat...Try it...You will see!

Our family goes to the beach each year usually close to the North Carolina and South Carolina boarder and one of our highlights is going to Calabash and eating. I get the fried seafood platter. We moved to Nashville, NC this past summer (2005) and found the Mayflower in Rocky Mount. Their fried seafood platter is just as good as what I get at Calabash. The shrimp is awsome.
