Went there with girlfriend. This was second time I have been in a three year period. Both experiences were the same. The outcome was average service(they are busy), poor food, and high prices. Why this restaurant is reguarded so highly is a mystery to me. The outcome after eating there was both us being highly dissatisfied. I paid for a nice meal and received sub-standard cheap chinese!
our table was very, very sticky when we sat down. We had to ask them to wipe it down again. One of our water glasses was dirty inside and had to be sent back. They never offered us the sauce bottles that every other table was offered. It was very busy and noisy, but the food was tasty. They also only gave us one little bowl of rice even though we ordered 3 entrees. We had to ask for another one. I hate being so picky, but geesh!
Please give a big pat on the back to Derek - the manager of your PF Chang's Restaurant in Raleigh. I live in S.C. and called him tonight to ask if I could purchase over the phone a margharita for my sister. She is celebrating her big 60 at this restaurant tonight.
Not only did Derek agree to get the margharita - he said he would secure them a nice table and server - and that the drink would be on the house.
Derek did not know - that I am a former personal shopper for Belk and I truly appreciate excellent service. You have a true gem in him. Please thank him publically for me. He is fabulous!!

If you want to have really great chinees food, I can not recommend this.
However, if you are meeting a group, desire great service and a nice atmosphere... this is a really good place. Individually, I don't love their dishes, but as a sharing experience on occasions, you forget that it is lacking in vegitables & reall high in calories & just enjoy it. Each dish really is good, but I just don't want to eat one as dinner.
Ate there for the first time a week ago. The food was outstanding. The service was impeccable, and very attentive. The atmosphere was very nice, and the restaraunt was very clean. Overall, a very good experience.
I went with my mother for dinner tonight and it was fantastic! We waited for less than 10 minutes and the service was phenomenal. Our server, Josh, knew the ins and outs of the menu and was easily able to answer all of our questions. (It was our first time dining at one) He gave us two sides with our meal on the house and didn't charge for our beverages. The restaurant was a little loud when we first sat down, but once the place cleared out it couldn't have been more perfect. I can't wait to eat there again... or to have Josh as our server.
Food was excellent and the waiter was great! Ordered the orange shrimp and loved it along with the Sea Bass. Excellent choice. I don't know what the others ordered that thought it was salty, but mine was perfect.
Excellent food and service! We went during the height of the lunch rush but were seated quickly, and service was exemplary.
The portions are generous, especially the soup....if you order it as entree, be aware that it's a BIG!!! bowl which will actually feed 2-3 people. We were a party of two and had the WonTon soup. We ate three bowls each and still had plenty to take home with us.
I had the spicy chicken, which arrived hot and is indeed spicy and tasty.
The restaurant itself is attractive and I did not find it cluttered or unclean during our visit. The restrooms were also clean.
Prices are quite reasonable, and this is a nice place to have lunch or enjoy a meal while shopping.
