Randy's Restaurant, Lexington

We met another couple at Randy's a couple of months ago as it is about halfway between Raleigh and Charlotte. Food and service were outstanding--down-home and excellent. We all had different menu items and raved about them. I had the chicken livers and have never had better. Desserts are special; you probably won't have room for them, but get something anyway and suffer later. Oh, and the prices are *very* reasonable. Only negative is that the place doesn't look like much--the sort of place you'd likely pass up if not for a recommendation. Please consider this a recommendation! I wish we lived closer--we can't wait to go back.

I moved to the area when I turned 17... I was always taken to Randys by my foster father.... ever since I have alwayas visited... I am now taking my two children there and they love it.... come on a 3yr old and a 1yr old actually eating home cooked meals and all of there vegatables ....yeah it has to be some good cookin. I promise once you've eaten there you always come back for more!
