I would not drive back for okay food....I want to go out and eat and say I just had a wonderful meal. I drove 45 minutes for okay. It was better than Kabuki just down the street.

Best japanese food around (that's not cooked at your table). Taste is excellent and the prices are great! I crave this place, and although I am close to Welcome and Winston Salem, where there are 2 other japanese places, I will always travel the extra 15 minutes to get this food!

Good food,Lazy waitstaff

Shoto has Great food,But there waitstaff is lazy or they get lost.We had to go to they bar and get are drinks. The bartender was great.

Best Corner Bistro In TOWN

Among menu items you will discover that these are not your odrinary Japanese resturant, the food is wonderful. And the bar is top notch, the bartender says he does not advertise, for good reason -- lexington's best kept hush case is about to be revealed... GREAT PLACE!

Good food HORRIBLE WAITSTAFF

Shoto has good food but he waitstaff is Horrible. They may take your order but as far as beening nice forget it. They forget about you and most of the time you don't get refills or they are always sitting around talking. If you want good food go there but don't go for the service.

Best Restaurant in Town

Forget BBQ lets eat Japanese!!! Shoto has a wide variety of foods and all for a good price. Loaded combination plates make it almost impossible to finish in one sitting. If your hungry for japanese food Shoto is the way to go!!
