Mayberry's Restaurant & Ice, Reidsville

Mayberry’s: an ice-cream parlor and short-order grill / drive-through. Parking from the Scales street side is limited but there is parking on the backside: access is not too difficult. No smoking. This place has been around since I was a kid although I can’t tell you when it was established. My grandmother would take me to the place as a treat. The place to me hasn’t seemed to change much and that is something that I do like. The food is simple, items like soup and cheese sandwiches, burgers, BLT, and what I think is a really good Reuben. The prices are fair; I always have change left from a ten. The service is friendly and you don’t have to wait long to get your meal. Clean and well lit with the right volume of music. I can read the paper, enjoy conversations and see what I am eating.
