In town on business and staying at the hotel nect door. The food is good, and the service is better. There are a couple of waitresses, not sure of their names and a some really cool bartenders. I suggest going in and sitting at or in the bar. The blonde bartender (I think her name is Brandy) and the dark haired bartender (big boobs) are the best.
visited this rockola on 8-8-09---first time at rockola-- i have to say the waitress we had (sherry) was unbelieveable-- she was right on our order- came back several times to ask if needed anything--food was great too--manager came to table after sherry advsd her it was our first visit to rockola---hope everyone will have such a great time ---
Its a very average place.
The service is OK at best. The waitstaff need to realize that cleaning up around tables, and having a loud conversation about their weekend plans right next to customers is rude.
The food is pretty good, but not awe-inspiring. The menu is also pretty small if you don't want a burger or sandwich.
The alcohol prices are INSANE. A draft domestic is nearly $4, and a draft import is nearly $5. Restaurants make money off of alcohol, but $5 for a Blue Moon is ridiculous.
The only great things about Rock-Ola are they are open to 11pm on the weekends which is great since everything closes so early in Asheboro, and good music classic music.
I would recommend Rock-Ola over Chili's, but not much else.
Yeah good place to eat if you have plenty of time. The staff could use some classes in manners. They sometimes forget part of your order and then it is like pulling teeth to get them to take it off your bill. I feel it is not the customers responsibility to remind them what you ordered. Please don't get me started about having them to bring you some extra ranch or plates, or silverware.
I must agree with the Local User. There have been times you go in and it takes forever for them to bring your meal. I have also had a few times that I have gone the the wait staff has been rude. This one time I went in and the waitress made a few rude comments and then complained that we did not leave her a tip. The only reason I go is to redeem free certifcates. The food is ok though, if you ever get it hot.
