I live in Mocksville, but Millers is always our families choice. The service is fast and polite and everyone can get something different . The food is excellent to our tast, my favorite is the seafood platter I have not ate seafood at a seafood restraunt that has a better taste. This is the first review I have ever written but everyone needs to try it the food is good and the prices are not overdone. We love Millers
I met someone online and we decided to meet in person since Mocksville was halfway between us we found Millers diner and decided to meet there. The entrance and layout of the restaurant is a little awkward. we thought we were entering in the back door at 1st and they did not have anyone to show us to a seat. but that is the worst of it, because once we sat down we received very prompt and friendly service.
The waitress was very helpful and knew the menu items quite well. the selection of items was fairly broad for such a small diner but we each decided on an old favorite, Steak and Potatoes.
They serve an 8oz ribbeye and it's the only steak on the menu. I asked about shrimp with it but they only have a popcorn shrimp so I passed. I ordered the mashed potatoes and my date ordered the baked potato. I can only say that my potatoes were excellent, very tasty and although I didn't ask for it they poured a little beef broth over them which truly gave them a wonderful flavor. The salad was very fresh and crisp made with iceberg lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and some shredded white and yellow cheeses, because I had a blue cheese dressing I could not make out the cheese varieties, sorry.
The steaks were cooked perfectly medium which is how we ordered them and they were very tender, however I felt they tasted a little bland. I can usually eat a good quality steak with out adding anything to it. This one I added a little salt and pepper. I believe it was cooked on a flat grill rather than over an open flame or in an oven broiler which would have crisped the fat and brought out the natural flavor.
My date had a fountain drink, I believe it was a Pepsi product and I ordered a very tasty lemonade.
Over all though the meal was very enjoyable and the dinners were only a little over $10.00 plus the beverages.
I had to go to court in Mocksville for a traffic violation and I went to Millers afterwards with my Mom and we absolutely loved the food, I live in Clemmons NC and would definitely go back for breakfast lunch or dinner. You can get breakfast anytime and we were greatful for that, because it was lunch time when we went in but we wanted breakfast and they have the best lemonade we have ever tasted. I don't usually leave a review but I thought that this place was great:)
Miller's has to be the best place to eat all round. It's such a friendly place where you can walk into and know atleast 5 people. The waitresses are very nice and are willing to help you with anything you need. Kip is such a nice person and goes around to the tables and asks how everyone is doing. It's more than just a restaurant, it's more like going there to eat and see family. Plus, it's soooo much better than Deano's! And much cheaper!

Your average diner but for some reason it is always over capacity lunch or dinner. I like C's BBQ Better for the same food. I've never found a food there I really like in 3 years except maybe the flat pimento cheeseburgers that look like theyve been sat on. French fries are limp.
