Alpine Lake Resort, Terra Alta

We love Alpine Lake. We've been many times as a couple and several organized family get-togethers. The place is beautiful and has none of the commercialization of Deep Creek Lake. I'm not a golfer, but my son-in-law and my bothers have played quite a few rounds and really enjoy the course. There's lots of different lodging choices - from the motel to very large homes. It's a place that is great to relax and enjoy life!

This is a true West Virginia Golf course some fantastic views and some uphill and down hill shots but is suprising at how many level lies are inbetween. This course starts out with a short easy front side and ends up the tougher new backside. It has three par threes on each side and all of them are a challenge with the tenth hole being one of the most unique views in golf. The course is kept in above average shape with slower greens. A fun course to play.
