Little Italy & Italian Rstrnt, King

Okay,my husband and I are meat lovers,steak that is, and believe it or not,this Italian restaurant shines as far as a good,thick juicy steak whenever they have their specials.They also sometimes have prime rib.The vegetables that come with it are awesome, and of course they serve absolutely mouth watering,buttery,garlic Italian bread.The pizza and Italian dishes are good too,but if you get the chance to enjoy a steak here,you will never order a steak anywhere else in King.This place shines with the beef.

I have to say that I was disappointed with this restaurant after growing up in NY State, where I've experienced real Italian cooking. The tomato sauce that was on my Eggplant Parmesan tasted like it came out of a Chef Boyardee can. My own Italian tomato based pasta sauce is far superior to anything I have tasted lately, although I haven't been to Carrabba's yet where I have been told the Italian food is really good. That's yet to be seen I guess. I just feel that if you are going to call it Italian, then it should taste like Italian....sorry.

For King they might enjoy. However, for anyone who appreciates Italian food this is not the place. Olive Garden rates higher and that isnt saing much!

Pasta is great, Calzones are my favorite. Subs and appetizers are yummy.

My new Favorite Restaurant ! ! Best Eggplant Parmigiana I've ever tasted, & the Large 2-topping pizza special ($10, seemingly every day) was what other places call Extra-Large, & it was delicious. Calamari appetizer ($6.95) is lightly fried, tasty, & fills the platter. Food was so good that we ordered the same thing the 2nd time we went, and it was just as good. Very EXTENSIVE menu, but NOT EXPENSIVE. Nice decor. I've been half-dozen times, now, & always good. Visiting friends RAVE ! ! -- Located in front of Lowe's Foods shopping center.
