Ogawa Japanese Restaurant, Morgantown

Good sushi, good noodles, try the squid salad, varied menu, affordable.

Someone I know who worked there said raw meat was cut on the table where other raw food was prepared. They also do not require their wait staff to get food handler cards.

I won't start off by insulting other reviewers but I have eaten at other good Japanese restaurants and like this place just as well. I eat here once or twice a month and yes have gotten both great and bad service (its a college town and you get students as wait staff). The fish always tastes fresh and the staff is always friendly. Whenever I'm passing through Morgantown this place is always first on my list for places to eat.

Whoever likes this place has never been to a good Japanese restaurant before. I have a number of complaints here. I ordered a sashimi appetizer and tempura dinner. My tempura came before my miso soup and my sashimi. The sashimi was watered down and NOT of a high quality at all. The tempura shrimp was 80% breading. The waiters did not care that they weren't paying attention to me at all. Horrible experience. I'll never go back.

I went here for the first time lastnight with a couple of friends for v-day/my birthday,and while it was a busy night they still tried their hardest to get everyone to a table as quick as possible and the wait staff was very nice.The food was amazing,some of the best sushi Ive ever eaten.It was my first time and def not my last.

Ogawa is the best restaurant in town. It has top quality sushi and an excellent wait staff! I found them to be very quick even when they're busy. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

I love this place!!! I travel an hour to get there and I go several times a month. It's that good!! I have never had anything but sushi there-it is so fresh and delicious every single time. I have never had a bad experience. The service is very quick even when it's busy. I have nothing but good to say!
