This charming neighborhood dining lounge seats only 44, so be sure to make a reservation on the weekends. Specialties here include filet mignon, delmonico steak, spinach salad, and lobster tail. They're open Monday through Friday for lunch and dinner and on Saturday for dinner only.
Decent dining experience. Average steak except it was $30 AND WE BOTH GOT SICK that night.
I called to inform the manager of the situation so others didn't also get sick. She told me that wasn't possible because it would take 12 hours for us to get sick. NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY THE SITUATION WAS HANDLED.
I will definitely NOT return, even if the food was free.
It's my favorite restaurant! That's where my fiance and I got engaged.
I get the same thing everytime, Chicken Fettucini Alfredo (Hope I spelled it right).
The bread and spreads are my favorite, but it's a normal restaurant.
What makes it better though than the others is that-
It is close to home and I don't have to go all the way to Morgantown to get a good meal.
Also the lighting in the room and the candles create a very romantic or relaxing atmosphere, depending on the reason you go. Also the reserved seating puts you right next that special someone. X)
But I was engaged there, and they will do that sort of things. The put the box on a plate with the deserts and drizzled chocolate around it as if it were a desert. So I would definately reccomend this restaurant to anyone!
My first impression of the dining room was pleasing.I have been to many backroom five star restaurants and although this was not the most classy it was not by far the worst. However that would all change. We ordered crab cakes for an appetizer which were maybe a six on a scale of ten. Then came the salads which were not what we expected mine was wonderful but the others left something to be desired. The main course was where it all went down hill.If you are going to charge high end prices you must have high end food. You should not have to wonder what kind of meat you are eating. The steak I ordered was so smothered with a cheap spice blend I could not tell what it was.Another which was a filet was also very unpleasant. Just so you dont think im some local idiot that doesnt know food .Iwill tell you that I have traveled all over the country and have eaten at hundreds of fine restaurants. And after the rude manager went in the back and got the filet out of the trash and brought it back to our table after the waitress said they would deduct it from the bill and did not.I can say I have never been so disghusted in my life.I wonder if this place does business like that very often.I will never go there again.
They have the best food around, no one can compare to their steaks. If you like blue cheese, be sure to order the Black and Blue - its filet mignon with a blue cheese sauce. Simply awesome!! I love their tuna steak, stuffed mushrooms, stuffed peppers, soup, spinach salads, everything. They make their own hot sausage and their hot sausage hoagies are terrific. The Lucy hoagie is steak with blue cheese - great!
I have never been disappointed. Try it and you'll understand.
Had dinner friday night~first time there, and the get an A+! My six year old loved the place and can not wait to go back! The staff was wonderful, Jason took great care of us! They were so impressed with our little guys great manners that they gave him small little gifts. Our salads were wonderful, we had stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer (I am not a mushroom lover) so to me they were ok. BF loved 'em! I had the chicken cacciatore which was out of this world! Was a little pricey, but well worth it. I will definitely go back~Oliverio's who??? Highly reccomend this establishment!
Incredible food, whatever you order; warm, friendly staff. We take a road-trip to Fairmont from Ohio 2-3 times a year and always eat at the Aquarium. My sweetie loves the delmonico with the peppers; I've had the scallops, the shrimp linguini, and also the beef and not once have I been disappointed. I'm planning on taking on reviewer's advice and trying the salmon next.
excellent quiet atmosphere, a variety of seafood among other things, classy, friendly staff. would definately recommend, expect to pay a little more but you get what you pay for, an overall excellent dining experience
