Awesome place to eat. My husband and I travel almost 2 hours to eat here every chance we get. We've been there many times now and have never had the issues some of the other people have written about. The service is always fast and pleasant. The food is amazing! The steak/chicken and cheese with onion is so delicious. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
WOW! What a great place! We went and the server was great, explaining dishes and making recommendations! The food was GREAT and the drinks were, too! The atmosphere is authentic and comfortable. Prices were in line. I would recommend this restaurant 100%. Did I mention they were not only tolerant of children, but kid-friendly? Can't wait to go back.
What has happened to this place???? It used to be the best place to eat in town. Now it is a place i dont even consider going to. Last time i was there EVERYTHING was just awful.. it took about 10 minutes just to meet my server.. Then the salsa was as watery as my drink. it had no taste at all. once i ordered, it took about 45 minutes for my food to be brought to me.. and the place wasnt even full... the steak in my food tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. my server never came to ask me for a refill. it was just awful. Something must be going very wrong.
My wife and I used to eat here when we were dating when we were in college 10 miles away. Now we've moved 400 miles away and we sill eat here every time we are back in the area and will even drive out of our way to get there. We love everything on their menu and can't find TexMex food like this anywhere else. The Salsa is the best. Better than what I've had in Mexico.
We eat at Maroma's every chance we get...We love it there the place is spotless the food is good & the service is excellent....They are all very friendly....Especially like to say hi to Diane...She usually is our waitress a very nice gal.........We just live here in Weston so its not to far for us to go.......
It used to be amazing when it was Carmona's. My favorite and what I got there every single time I went was Camarones Al Chipotle - which is a spicy shrimp dish in this amazing creamy zesty sauce. Well, they changed ownership about a year ago and they completely took my favorite dish off of the menu and no longer serve anything in good sauce. Their sauce has changed to more of a cheap slightly spicy tomato sauce. My family and I no longer go there.
This place seems to be the hotspot of Buckhannon. It also seems, from others accounts, that you either love or hate Maroma's (no in between). Service was fine but a bit slow. The food tasted like it had been sitting around for a while and was microwaved once ordered (which was odd because it took quite a while to get it). The beer was great, though.
