Madeleine's Restaurant-Cellar, Morgantown

Visited prior to the LSU-West Virginia game. Our waitress was wonderful! She gave great suggestions and was very helpful - even while wearing our LSU outfits! The cheese fries appetizer was delicious. She recommended the turkey sandwich and the hamburger. Both were very good, We enjoyed our visit very much - great food and warm hospitality. It was a shame that not as many people visited this place on a Saturday football game day. Only about 3 tables were occupied while we were there.

Absolutely my favorite place to eat in Morgantown. I love it so much I had Tommy do my wedding. The menu is great and the specials are brilliant!

This place has good food with a variety of menu options including seafood. They also have a banquet room for large meetings or gatherings. Wine selection is good.

This is my favorite reasonably priced restaurant in Morgantown. The food is always fresh, and the service is kind and prompt. If I have one criticism, it's that despite the obvious effort that is put forth in their dishes, they are sometimes too daring in their execution. In other words, if it sounds too exotic for Morgantown then it probably is. Still an excellent restaurant overall, and i would rather see something exciting on the daily menu than the same ol' meat and potatoes! Kudos to Madeleine's! Go there; you will not be disappointed.

A switch from fast food they offer a pretty wide menu including some seafood. and quite a few appetizers and quesadillas to choose from. Prices vary and affordable for the student.

Best food in Morgantown is unfortunately not saying much. This place is about par for the course. The menu looks interesting, but the execution, the price and the service are poor. I only had lunch, so this may not hold for dinner.

This is one of my favorite places to go. Always smiles on the people who work there. Own by a terrific couple. The food is The Best in town.

Madeleine's is my favorite restaurant in Morgantown. It's locally owned and operated, they have an excellent menu, the food is great, and the atmosphere is always pleasent. Jimmy: Next time you leave the Kingwood Pike go to Cheddar's, that's probably more your style.

I think Jimmy's review is flawed. I love Madeleine's restaurant and i am there regularly. There food is fresh and locally prepared. I like that. I think Jimmy would prefer applebees or chedders. He will get his food cheap there. There it will come from a frozen box and be microwaved and it will taste GOOD! Not to mention there pretty fast. Well When you food is already half cooked before you even get there it tends to be cheaper. And when all the food come from the same corporate warehouse from the same conveyor belt it alwasys tastes the same. MMMM good.. taco bell, dig it.
