I feel that they let the same people win,over and over,I seen it with my own eyes. The casino watches your players card.They know the people are going to put all the money back and more,ITS an advertising scam!!! They wil let u win if u put thousands $ in.Its bull crap,I seen this first hand.

ATTENTION NON-SMOKERS! Gamble in the (DUH - Who would have thunk it!) non-smoking area of the casio!!! Or, why don't you just stay in your smoke-free home and play the slots online. Just go and have a good time (here's another novel thought - the place exists to have FUN)! Wash your clothes when you get home and stop your b--ching! Also, if this is the worst thing in your life - God bless you! And no, it isn't the biggest casino but it's a lot closer than Atlantic City and Vegas!

I agree about the smoking. Everything about it is awesome except that and the overcrowdedness. The cigarettes are murder. I play about 40 bucks and thats it. The smokers seem to follow me. I feel literally ill when I leave.

My experience at the Casino is Charlestown was GREAT! I go quit frequently and yes usually loose my money, but have a great time. I just wish it was smoke free, I hate coming home smelling like a cigarette.

Too small, too crowded, too few staff, too few cashiers, too much smoke, no blackjack slots, table games are too close together and croweded...they need to expand, not cram more stuff into a small area. Very unhappy with the casino. Outrageous fees at ATMs, have to go to cashier just to get the cash from the ATM, it doesn't come out automatically. Drink area was broken, drinks are not hand poured.

The new Hollywood Casino at Charlestown Races and slots is terrible! After advertising that all table games are now in play, that was not the case during yesterday visit at 9pm. This was my 2nd time there and its still a place of chaos. Besides many tables not yet in operation (or even open 24 hours, the tables that were open had a high minimum bet such as $50 for Blackjack, or $25 for 3 Card Poker....and if many of you play 3 Card Poker that is a high minimum. Also, in the High Rollers section which has a few tables of Blackjack and Baccaret. The Minimum is $100 or 200 with a maximum of $1000. The maximum limit is what I have a problem with. Are you kidding me? $1000 max for a high roller table? It should be comparable to Vegas or Atlantic City, in which the max would be approx. $3000-6000. The Poker Room.... They are just asking to get robbed. The so called 'Cage' where poker players go to buy chips is like a 'lemonade stand'. The chips and the cash is literally right there for the taking. I could have grabbed all the cash and darted for the nearest exit. Or grabbed a hand full or a rack full of $100 chips. If only I took a picture of it, then you would have been shocked to see their system of operating. Another thing about the poker room is the long, really long wait list. I'm talking about a 1/2 NLH with a waitlist of 30 or a 2/5 NLH of 20 players. The food is terrible, edible? Yes, but terrible. The staff? hmmmm, lets just say the sterotype of West Virginians is prevalent. Positives: The drive is only an hour from Alexandria VA and very smooth. No traffic, peaceful scenary and only about $5 in tolls if taking the Dulles toll road and the Greenway toll road.

worst time ever they raised the table limits up the dealers couldnt count it was over crowded trash every where . the worst gambling experience ever wont be going back

two nights in a row all 50.00 tables had to wait two hours to get a spot on the crap table 50.00 min. so much trash under table did not have any room to put a cup down . i said something about it the pit people just looked at me ! im not going back.

Charles Town Races and Slots spent a lot of money on advertising but that was about it. I went to the casino today because of the new table games but to my surprise they only had about 10 tables open with none of them being below a $50 mininum. Plus the condition of the casino was horrible. The carpet had pieces of it all over the place, trash surrounded most of the gaming tables as well. The employees just apologized and said there was nothing they could do. I will not visit this establishment again. You are better off driving to a casino in Wheeling, WV, Pittsburgh Pa or Atlantic City.

Place was a literally a dump, I went plenty of times with alot of money just to test them out I put it in all different kinds of machines they had to offer. I could put 60 dollars in a 1 dollar machine and win 3 dollars. Place kind of reminds me of a truck stop with those little coin drop machines that push quarters over the edge, fun to play but never really win.Absolutly nothing like Atlantic City or Las Vegas I lost all the money I allowed myself to spend and never really won anything at all, This is not an isolated incident , This happened the 7 times I went. They want your money so go give it to them. And enjoy the free fountain pepsi machine
