Towne House Restaurant, Charles Town

Conveniently across the street from Charles Town Races and Slots, we've been dining here for years. The food is typical diner fare at really cheap prices. Some of the best we've had are the honey dipped fried chicken, the cheeseburger, the chicken breast sandwich, and the vegetable soup. If you go on weekday mornings sit near the back to hear the old timers talk politics. Some of the waitresses don't look happy to be there and sometimes you have to ask for a refill for your drink but it's not the end of the world. If you're short on time this may not be the place for you, but if you're short on money definately give it a go.
