After coming to this talked-about place for Valentine's Day- we were shocked when (after 45 minutes of being ignored) we were told that our order was never placed. . .we got a phone call asking us to come back to get 'taken care of' but when I actually came back and asked to speak to the manager he refused. . .the place is a joke. Stay away- far away. . .
We've visited this restaurant numerous times and never had a bad meal. The first time we stayed at the Bavarian Inn and decided to eat here. It was a wonderful surprise. Each visit has been enjoyable and the food is excellent. When visiting the panhandle of WV, this is a nice stop.
We ate here because it was highly reccommended. The service was very poor and the food was just as bad. I ordered Rockfish and commented to the waitress that rockfish was another name for stripped bass. She didn't think so and neither did the cook. Not an important point but it shows how little they knew about what they were serving. My food seemed like it was prepared the day before and partially warmed up in a microwave oven. When we were finished I had to go hunt for our waitress to get our bill. I would not reccommend this place to anyone.
