The best sushi experience I've had in the Boston area. Great atmosphere and quality food. Get the Ebi Mango Maki and Volcano Maki - you won't be disappointed! Someone else commented about the reservation system - basically they do call-ahead seating, which works better than reservations (no planning required).
Their reservation system does not work. When we arrived promptly at the time of our reservation we were asked to wait 20 minutes which turned into more than 1/2 hour! The asian guy at the reception was rude. The food is not bad but its not better than Fugakyu or Oga.
I have been to Ginza many times and have never been disappointed. The sushi is great, along with many of the other courses they have. Good date place too. I love sushi, but sushi and a beautiful intelligent woman is that much better.
I've been going to this place ever since it opened and they're always at the top of their game. The staff is courteous, the fish is always fresh and the manager (Johnny) is always friendly and checks in on your meal.
Other places like Fugakyu & Osushi (which is ridiculosly priced) may have a better atmosphere, but dollar for dollar you get more out of New Ginza. Highly recommend it.
