We stayed at the Bellegrae Inn in January and April '09. It is a wonderful old Inn situated within walking distance of downtown Staunton and innumerable nearby restaurants. Staunton is a small, quaint, Victorian town with elements of the old and new. It is a great location from which to launch your exploration of this countries early roots.
The Inn itself is charming and comfortable. The Innkeeper, Michael Organ, has been in the business for nearly 30 yearas and is a wealth of knowledge about Staunton and the surrounding areas.
Have a hearty breakfast before leaving the Inn for a day of adventure or hang around Staunton and soak up the local history. Very interesting area and very comfortable Inn.
