Red Flower Chinese Restaurant, Big Stone Gap

I have eaten at Red Flower many times since the 90s. I don't like to write reviews for a place unless I have visited a place more than a few times to judge overall consistency. Overall I think Red Flower is a nice Chinese restaurant that serves good food and the staff have always been friendly when I have visited. The restaurant is a good addition to the community that is short on diverse dinning experiences. They have reasonable dine in lunch prices and if you order take-out you will not be disappointed. I recommend this restaurant.

I ordered H15 which was to include lobster, bamboo shoots and rice noodles, baby corn.. 1 inch square piece of lobster. no bamboo shoots . 1 baby corn cut in 4 pieces. and no rice noodles. Instead, rice which had to be under the buffet heat lamps at least 2 hours.....very crispy. Yucky. Our other order was sweet and sour shrimp. Not one vegetable in this dish. And sweet and sour sauce was on side so meat had not married with the sauce. Might as well have put ketsup on fried shrimp. Mind you, we don t have a good Chinese restaurant in our home town and were really looking forward to this. We cry uncle......no more chinese food unless we prep it ourself.

do not go to this place they are rude and the food isnt all that great the wait staff is the only bright spot

Best Chinese in Wise County. Thumbs down to China Garden and Asia Cafe. Do not get the buffet because you will not be satisfied with the quality but order off the menu and be prepared to be full and happy.

I asked Cody that May I live with her When I got back home from camp lowman then few days L8R I tryed to call Cody but its someone ellse cell phone number. this place is the place to go when you want some very good chinesse. They have a buffet and desert bar.They also have menu if you don't feel like all you can eat.Or choose what you want to take home with ya.Overall it is good

Not really a big fan of Chinese food, there is a dish however (H2) containing beef,pork,chicken,shrimp with a variety of veggies all piled on a bed of rice. Its a taste sensation!! A MUST TRY.. Ask for H2 fom the menu....

It is good if you can get it fresh & hot, meaning either get there early for the buffet, or order a specific dish. Almost everything tastes the same though, but still good.

It is tasty but they use a lot of garlic in their food which gives it a funky taste.
