At the end of a long day...............
By tiger, 1/3/07
This is NOT the place to unwind. Especially if you want a good meal. Imagine being on a plane for 5 hours for what was supposed to be a 1.5 hour flight. Now after being diverted twice, you're finally on terra firma and all you want is a thick, juicy steak. OK, you walk through the door. Stepping over peanut shell carcasses (have to believe most corporate liability insurance adjustors shutter at the thought) and make your way to a noisey booth. Now usually I looooooooooove that atmosphere---the kind where you just don't give a ..................... I do-however-care about the fact that I'm in a steakhouse that has no prime rib. How does a steakhouse run out of prime rib? Fine-OK-so, I get the New York strip--medium (even saw it on the ticket). When it finally (ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz, oops had time for nap in waiting on it, and no they weren't THAT busy) arrives, it's not medium... it's a still-partially-mooing-medium-rare. And on top of that......it's basically cold. The so-called onion rings or whatever they're called, turned out to be nothing more than a lump of greasy batter-dipped mass, burnt to a crisp. (I think there were a few onions in there or maybe it was just onion-flavored batter) Right--so no place is perfect and I wasn't expecting the Four Seasons. But something edible would have been nice. I can't believe a national chain would settle for such substandard delivery. If this doesn't bother you or you just plain ol' have no standards, go with the reviews below. But if you can't stand not getting your money's worth--like me--go to Outback, or do what my father and I did the following night.... Go to Krogers, get a couple of thick, juicey Delmonicoes...put some Lawry's on them. Kick back and enjoy!!!!

Great Steakhouse
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/9/06
Excellent Place to take you family to eat or to take your spouse on a dinner date. Quality and Portions in comparison to price are excellent. Service is corteous and prompt. And you just can't beat a place where you throw your peanut shells on the floor.

Never disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/30/06
This is one of my favorite restaurants! We have never been disappointed in the food and my husband and I agree that we've never had a better steak elsewhere! The baked potatoes are always hot, and cooked to perfection.

Go ahead... throw them on the floor
By 223, 8/23/06
Want to munch while you wait? Wait the servers to remember who you are if you visit three or more times? Want to feel like you're going to dine with family rather than at a local restaurant? The Logan's Roadhouse is right for you. This was the best dining experience I've had while in the Roanoke Valley. Food was tasty, came in large portions, very reasonably prices and make you feel like you have truly eaten a meal fit for roaylity. The staff were friendly and welcomed you in with "hey now". In fact, one server recognized me and my companion each and every time we visited. Wow! Talk about impressive. So go ahead, visit Logan's Roadhouse while in the Roanoke Valley. Enjoy the barrel of peanuts waiting by greeters station. They're the best peanuts around!! And when you're done don't look around for a trach can to chuck the hulls. Go ahead... throw them on the floor.

The best visit ever!!!
By Evie, 9/11/05
Okay so today we went to Logan's and this guy Josh waited on us....and he was more than perfect!!!! Like 35% tip good!!! Eat here!!! Good food, good service....Mind you we dont normally go there because when I first had my daughter I had to nurse her and she was completely covered and someone made the comment to our waitress "when the baby is done I will take the rest" who came back and repeated it like 5 times....that was horrible...but lucky for them Josh redeemed them!!!
