Olive Garden, Norfolk

Coming from the Norfolk Naval Base this is a good lunch spot if you have an hour or more. It is recommended you know some of the back streets as traffic back to the base can be a bit heavy in the early afternoon.

Never thought of going to Olive Gardeen for lunch because of the lines I usually see in the evening would make it not a good place to go when you have a short lunch break...I was wrong. Went to Olive Garden at 11:30 AM and was seated immediately. Just had the soup and salad and breadsticks. The give you all you can eat for $5.99 and come around to replenish frequently. With tax and tip including drink I was out the door for less the $10.00 and plenty full. If you have not tried Olive Garden for lunch give it a try

Great food, great service...wonderful choices. There was a bit of a wait but once we got seated my 3 yr. old had some crayons and some thing to color on. We got breadsticks and a choice between soup or salad. Overall wonderful. My fiance says that everytime he visits from North Carolina we have to eat here from now on.

Good food, Good people very friendly and comfortable place to eat and have fun. If you like italian food it's a great place to dine.

Olive Garden has been around for years, but I have yet to get sick of it. The food is nothing less than exquisite!!! There are lots of great dishes to try, but I always visit for the signature salad. Salad or soup is served before every dinner meal, but instead of nibblin' at the salad to apease your apetite until the meal comes, you will fully eat at least two servings of the salad. Its a great mixture of chef's salad with peppers and olives topped an Italian dressing that's to die for. A cheap date for two? Order one spaghetti with meat sauce as a dinner plate and request that the large portion of spaghetti is split into two plates and there will be enough salad and spaghetti for you both with a bill no larger than $13.50 (with water as a drink and not including desert, like you will have room to eat it). There are lots of fine wines to choose from for you wine connoisseurs, and chocolate mints are served after each meal.
