I cannot understand the negative reviews. My family and I have been dining here for years and have found the food terrific and the staff wonderful Lina and Tony make you feel like you are family from the second you walk through the door. Their chicken Tawook is absolutely amazing as is the tomato bisque soup. Do yourself a favor and sit down to a great meal.
Despite the terrible reviews , I decided to try Azar's . I found it to be wonderful . The food was served hot and very tasty . Our serrver was very attentive and right on . I will definitely recommend to my friends and go back again real soon , since there were so many wonderful dishes .
The food was decent, although not hot when it arrived...WHEN it arrived. We got there at 6:30 thinking we'd have enough time to go to the orchestra concert we had tickets for at Chrystler Hall at 8:30...thank goodness the tickets were free, we never made it to the concert. It took FOREVER to get our food. When it took a really long time to get our appetizers, I specifically asked the waiter if he could make sure we got our food as quickly as possible. It came about 45 minutes later. Barely warm. I'd like to try it again, but a different location.
As a Lebanese-American this restaurant got nothing to do with lebanese food. They are fakers food is mix of Greek/Jewish/ Lebanese. I ate at many other lebanese restaurants around the US even in the capital and have yet to pay the same price tag (OUTRAGEOUS) and rip off at the same time. Dont do it, there is other good and descent price places like NAZEF and Mayflowers.
Sell the house and cash in your 401..
Services... well if I was to pick my money would be on Santa claus coming first..
ARROGANT non assisnting staff, the act as if you owe them something and that they are doing you a favor by waiting on you.
Food has good flavor. But be ready to pay out of your nose for it.
and the portions well lets say I could have prob eaten 4 serving.. tiny is that fist word that enters my mind
DO NOT GO.. TERRIBLE over all..
If you want a taste of the Mediterranean, this is the place to go. The food is authentic and the people are very friendly. They even have a little market to pick up those specialty items to make this food at home!
I went last night which was a Tuesday, other then the 5 of us only two other couples were there. We were greeted and sat at once, they took our drink orders and handed out menus. with in 5 minutes we ordered our dinner.. we waited for alomost 30 minutes after before our server even returned to the table to ask if any one needed a re-fil, SHe left and about 5 minutes returned with our drinks. SMELLING LIKE A CIGARETTE factory..
we had to wait about 5 more minuted until our Entree's arrived.
Wow were we shocked. the portioned are VERY Small.
almost everythign was very cold...tow out of five orders were wrong.. so wrong that they were not evern close.....
Lucky for me it was some one elsees food becuse by the time they fixxed it ..we were done..

This Place is a Bad Value, all round. Terrible Terrible service I would NOT RECCOMEND IT for any one
Azar's is pretty dang good. I highly recommend it's a wonderful healthy experience. It's not cheap but it is worth it. Who ever wrote the negative comment must of had a really bad day. I have been eating there once a week since they opened and I have never had a bad experience. Make sure you have a lot of money when you go.
I am a long time fan of Mediterranean foods. and vist most of tthose tupe of places in the are so here goes
