Upscale Restaurant & Lounge, Virginia Beach

We (20 of us) came from Richmond, VA to celebrate my brother-in-laws Birthday on a Saturday night, we had a complete ball! Upscales is definitely for the grown and sexy 30+. I can t remember the ladies name that held our tables for us but she was so nice.....she made us feel so welcome...from the entrance until our departure everyone at Upscales was nice. The chicken wings are to DIE for but they will run you about $10-12 bucks. The drinks are kind of expensive also a shot of henny $12 a beer $6 if I can remember correctly. That was a night to remember...I can t wait to go back for my cousin s bday the first Thursday in May, 2012. I heard that Thursday s is ladies night! We will see you soon UPSCALES! One of the best clubs I have been to in a long long time...we travel from Richmond to get there but enjoy ourseleves everytime!

I have been visiting the Virginia Beach Area for over 21 years. I always make it my business to go to Upscales when I'm in town. It has a mature and fun loving atmosphere and mix of music that is definitely for the grown & sexy. The food and drinks is on the money as well as the fine ladies who grace this establishment. I plan to be back soon.

Well I really enjoy this club. My friends and I used to club here on a regular basis until I moved out of the state. Whenever I get a chance to visit, I always go out to Upscale. I have never had any issues with the staff. I have never had any issues with others in the club. I feelthat everyone is there just to enjoy themselves and have a great time. The club as a nice atmosphere. I love to dance and I enjoy the music they play, which is a mix of R&B and some hip hop. The DJ even takes you back to the 80s and 90s. There is an older crowd on Fridays, but I love it bc you don't have to worry about people fighting. I like ther drinks as well as the food. In my opinion it's great!!

Do to the lack of mature adult nite spots to go to, Upscales has benefited tremendously. This club is overrated, expensive, and is run by management with a big ego. Thursday is ladies night of course so in order to get his money back, he charges men 20.00 after 10 pm. On holiday weekends, thurs-sat, there is also the 20.00 cover for all. Totally insane for this area. There are no drink specials during the night and the food is high too, charging about 10.00 for 5 chicken wings. It ain't worth the money and let's not forget about the presence of vabeach cops lined up outside the club to arrest you for DUI when you leave.

great place could use more men who enjoying dancing but what club cant . good food 2 bars & thurs nite is LADYS nite no cover charge all nite for us gals

NOW you know, I've been there several times before. It's nicely decorated, you have plenty of parking (located in a strip mall), plenty of seating. They have two bar areas and is great on New Years Eve for an Upscale price for an Upscale Event. Plenty of nicely dress ladies sitting at tables and the single ones who want to dance are hard too find. More of a nice time for couples. The staff was nice, the food was nicer, but you can expect that for the price. Better than Broadway, haven't been to Dream yet. But even I, never saw the sun rise up in dat joint.
