El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant, Virginia Beach

My wife and I have to say this place is awesome! Our food came out in 5min, guacamole was great, and our waitress couldn't have been any more friendly. The owner even came over to check on us and sent his thanks for checking them out online. Restaurant is located next to Starbucks & the movies. The drinks are great in quality and size. The only thing that was avg is the pork. Beef, steak, chicken, or seafood dishes are seasoned to perfection! Grab the wifey and start here for a great dinner date :-)

I'm obsessed with this place!!! Great food & fast service with a Friendly Wait Staff. I just moved down here from Boston and I was skeptical of the Food around the area but this place is amazing. And the Fresh Guac is to die for. You should def. go there and try it out. :)

Excellent restaurant. The food is well prepared and delicious. The chips and salsa are great. The food comes very quickly to the table so if you want to savor the chips wait a little to order your meal. The staff is great too!

This is a high standard Mexican restaurant. The food is very good and the white sauce is the best! It is conveniently located to the Strawbridge Regal movie theaters. Stop my after the movie. Nicer than most Mexican restaurants.

The food here is excellent and the service is superb. The prices cannot be beat and the portion sizes are extremely generous. In short, the best Mexican restaurant I have ever experienced.

Probably the best Mexican restaurant in the city! Everytime I go there I get seated right away, have my drink in under 30 seconds! They have GREAT food and a wide selection. I have never waited for more then 5 mins for my food to come out and its always tasted wonderful! I would recommend it to everyone.

I love Mexican food and am from california where they have it everywhere. After moving to Virginia Beach I have been to a few mexican food places but none stand up to this place. Their service is excellent and there food is delicious. I definately recommend this restaurant!
