LA Bella Italia, Virginia Beach

Went to RedMill Location on a recommendation from a waitress from breakfast. Seriously good food. Cream sauces are the best. But, we had four dishes, all of them great. Lasagna like mama's. Rosa sauce on Penne very nice. My chicken portofino was so good that when I shared a taste with the rest of my party, they all demanded that we go back tonight. Do yourself a favor and try this place . Leave room for dessert.

I just moved to Virginia Beach 2 weeks ago and was searching for a place to eat dinner so i went driving around. I didn't know what to expect from the outside it is a newer building but very small...so I figured what the heck. Inside was very clean, they have a cute little bar, and delicious dessert cabinet at the front. I ordered a pasta dish and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! The service was great, we were catered to. I will definitely be going back again! A little pricey but I think it's worth it! Try it out!

The food is is hit or miss. Depending on who's cooking, sometimes it's good and sometimes horrible. But my biggest complaint here is the service. The serving staff is very unprofessional and lacks courtiesness. Their knowledge of the menu is lacking and the service can be quite slow. The dining room manager was very unpleasent and rude--refusing to correct an obvious mistake by the kitchen. I'm never returning to this place and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Not very good food, but maybe we got the wrong dishes because their Mozarella En Caroza appetizer is very good and appreciated since I don't know of hardly any restaurants that serve it.

If you love homemade pasta, La Bella Italia is the restaurant for you. Located just a minute or two from Atlantic Ave., this restaurant has some of the best Italian food that I've tried. My friend and I liked it so much that we ate there a second time while on vacation. We tried the homemade gnocchi and the homemade lobster ravioli special. The prices are reasonable (about $15-$18 for a pasta dish) and they give you great bread. They also make their own fresh mozzarella which is a hard find and the mozz. appetizer was great. The cannolli's were good too and they have a good bakery selection. If you know authentic Italian food this is a place you should definately go to.

I came across La Bella Italia while doing a search for Italian baked goods. I read all the reviews but was worried it would be expensive so I held off on going to the restaurant. I should state that there is a bakery/deli and a restaurant. I have been shopping at their bakery/deli for a few months now and I love it! The prices cannot be beat and the quality is amazing. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. They make an effort to learn their customers. I finally tried the restaurant with my boyfriend the other day and we couldn't believe how good everything was. It's reasonable priced (a bit more than Olive Garden but so much more to choose from and SO much better, it's REAL Italian food!) We've been recommending La Bella Italia to everyone since. It is a must try. You're sure to love it!!!

it is so homie in there i felt like i was in a home in a villa in italy somewere i loved every thing about it and i have lived here 22 years so when i say it is not at all va style i mean it

or in hampton roads for that matter. Little on the unknown side to most, but definitely worth the visit for the price and quality. Love this place, especially since they serve gnocchi- which is hard to find in this area. Try it sometime.
