I have to go back again
there was a lot more to love about this place than there was to dislike, for a muslim country, I have never been made to feel so welcome even though I am christian. The connection of christianity is in this ancient city, I really felt good, the history, to visit the tomb of Salladin, I was really humbled, the respect the Damascans give to their past, it is an amazing city, the only thing in its disfavour was the traffic, the fumes never leave the city until late at night when a powerful breeze sweeps thru' the city, also, one thing I did notice was that was no dog" pooh" on the ground, unbelievable, the cities of Eurtope should follow this citys example, and there were no mosquitos, major sights were within driving distance from the city, pity about the car horns, but i am coming back for Damasc linen
