Skocjan Caves, Ljubljana

no joke i moved here just for it oh yeah i go every weekend. its amazing. it changed my life. i was a bit suicidal before this. and now look at me, i got a job and everything. it is simply stunning.

Best exhibition of caves we have ever seen. If you are in Slovenia don't miss out.

If you have ever been to a cave then save your 14 Euro for the ticket /10 Euros- students/. The guid's presentation about the cave was quite poor, he didn't tell much information. The tour is suppose to take 1,5 hr. but it includes about 35 min. walk to and from the cave. It seems like this is just a pure business for them so it's a pity they don't give tourists the quality they deserve for the high admission. After all the cave was nice but I wouldn't name it the most amazing one. /maybe I've just seen prettier caves./

These caves are totally amazing - very Lord of the Rings and completely awe inspiring. You can't imagine the sheer scale and beauty of the cavern - my only concern is that if loads of people discover it, it will be ruined. So if you're going - go soon!
