Mosteiro dos Jeronimos is a place to visit!

To understand Portuguse history you need to visit this monastery. Built after the Portuguse sailors started to explora the world, it is a tribute to the ocean and its relationship with the people and their faith. Situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Lisbon, it is surrounded by other monuments that you cannot miss, including Torre de Belem and Museus da Marinha. Make sure you find time to eat in Casa dos Pasteis de Belem. This pastry shop has more than one century and once you eat there you will understand why is a favorite!

Portugal and it s people are wonderfull!

Lisbon has a magic light! i visited Bairro Alto, Roosio, Belem (have to eat one pastel de belem), Sintra is wonderfull, and listened fado music.

Two UNESCO World Heritage site

The Monastery and the Tower of Belem are actually two separate sites, within walking distance of each other. The Monastery is huge, split into the elaboratedly decorated church where Vasco de Gama's tomb is located, as well as the Cloisters with its peaceful atmosphere. The Torre de Belem is on the waterfront and a famous landmark.
