Petra, Petra

Went to Petra on a tour and it was unfortunate to say the least. Petra is beautiful and completely interesting, but the we did not have very good dealings with the people there. The guide we hired in Petra let us know that Americans were overweight, too rich and politically inept. He wanted a tip after that. We decided to let him know we would visit the rest of Petra without him. The tour guide coming into Petra told us that the people who take care of the horses would always ask for more tips, but to only give them 2JD and "walk away". The man started cursing at us while we left. When we told the guide back at the bus he was not happy but didn't seemed too surprised. Hmmm... Petra is lovely and very beautiful, just a very bad experience with the people.

This place really shows the unlimited capability of the human being, where the anciant inhabitants Carved their whole huge city in rocks and you keep saying to yourself HOW? this small country called Jordan has so many remarkable sites.

the second my family planned to go to jordan, i thought it would be another boring family trip. but little did i know that i would have the best time of my life. the amazing city of petra is a city carved/built in a mountain. i had a great time on the camels, and couldnt believe that we were leaving ONLY after 2 weeks. i CANT wait to go back!!!!!!!!!!

first of all this is not a reprisenting photo of Petra Petra !!!! this is one section but the main photo not seen. its a wonderfull area in the desert,its look like a deep vally and if you want to go there you have to walk through this vally between two high mountain,its very closed with each other and when you walk there you feel your head is going to touch the rocks, this is only the way to Petra and when you finish this road you come out to the big court you find many small caves like this in the photo and the main treasurey its very big very huge engraved deep in the rosey rocky mountain by the nebatians many thousened years B.C however I cannot discribe as well as it is in the real and i hope to be one of the seven wonder

I went there for 3 weeks, i was lucky to see petra i stay there for 3 days and it was my best days , its beautful specialy in the sunset. when you go there make sure you need more than 3 days
