Taj Mahal, Agra

The Taj Mahal is a beautiful work of art but difficult to truely enjoy due to the number of visitors. I found the temples on either side to also be amazing and think more publicity should be given to them. I was extremly dissapointed by the lack of respect paid by visitors taking flash photos inside the tomb. One of the things I most enjoyed was the feel of the cool marble on bare feet. Don't where the goofy slipper things over your shoes, take them off and truely exsperience the marble. February not a good time to visit. Pleas respect the culture and history do not litter or leave graphiti behind. Sadly others have.

I've seen Taj Mahal many times...and each time was different from last time... almost a whole new experience! It's difficult to put in words, you have to go there to experience it. There is no comparison anywhere in the world to this magnificent structure. Even today, after more than 350 years of its existence, it's presence makes one forget the rest of the world... briefly. There will always be one question (and wonder)like every visit, ie. How more beautiful Taj would have looked... just after its completion !!?

It is a fabolous place............It was a bit crowdy but in the evening the view was awesome............first word from my mouth when I saw TAJ MAHAL " WOW"

It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 when it was described as a "universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage."[1]

It is one of the finest work of marble and a great gift of Mogul Empire to India and the world, it was built for his queen and in the process turned out as a masterful art work and it will make the mockery of all the world over of "love", Even today it is worth seeing in full moon night and try to sit in the back and medidate and reflect on you life and love.

This is without a doubt the star attraction for most foreign tourists in India. It IS beautiful, even though there is significant environmental damage over the last 300+ years. Lots of tourists around so try to go as early as possible. Would also recommend going across the Yamuna and taking pictures from the Mehtab Gardens, the foundation for the legendary "second Taj".

i think taj mahal is a real piece of art and could surely lead anyone in wonder but i think that thier is lot of pollution all out there and thats making taj "DIRTY YELLOW".

The pictures don't do this monument justice. From a distance, a pristine white marble building. Up close, incredibly delicate carvings and inlay work (jasper, emeralds, mother of pearl, lapis, malachite and jade). You won't want to leave.

THE TAJ MAHAL IS JUST AWESOME IF YOU HAVEN"T SEEN IT IN A LIFETIME YOU HAVEN"T LIVED YOUR LIFE TO IT'S FULLEST!! I LOVED VISITING THIS PLACE IT HOLDS HISTORY IN THE BEAUTIFUL WHITE MARBLE IT IS MADE OF!!
