Sikri A short Capital of Moguls
By NAJ, 4/13/07
It was the shortest capital of India under Moguls and built from scratch by Akber and was finally abandoned after 10 years because of shortage of water.

A very pretty palace
By Peech, 4/13/07
A pretty palace that is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. It was used by Akbar as a palace for a number of years, before the water supply of the lake went dry. The facade of the Mosque next door is simply stunning.

amazing
By Bhagya, 6/7/06
The palaces was built by one of india's biggest emperor, Akbar. He built one in honor of his wife. The other has a tomb of his close assistant. IT is simply mindblowing, made in pink sandstone, some of these places are been shown in the bollywood movies, it is very pretty.
