Tikal National Park, Antigua Guatemala

Tikal is one of the most beautiful places to go to. One day is not enough to see everything in this place.You can hear the spider monkeys and jaguars fight as your walking through the jungle its scary but exciting. Flores is so nice, one other place to go is Antigua its my favorite place of all. Yeah its hot but the best time to go to Guatemala is April- May. Love it and am planing my next trip with my family. This is living history, as you see what has been unearthed and realize there are still mounds of earth that still have ruins beneath them not fully uncovered. Its truly a jungle atmosphere as monkeys swing from trees and reptiles are around. For me waking up and falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle was the most beautiful sound. Tikal is a masterpeice of history and beauty.

The scenery is absolutely amazing. My only complaint was the 90+ temps with 100% humidity. I recommend getting a guide and trying to go on a partly cloudy day.

I never been so excited.....is just incredible do not miss it you will feel in thouse times when the mayas lived just can transport yourself and thinking beeing there..... houw they lived and the civilization they built..how can they construct everything is just incledible

I luv that it was very homie to me and that the places were extremly beatiful . I thought i wasnt going to like it but in the end iloved it so if you want an adventure go to guatemalabecause theres isnt any better place than it go raiders.

WOW!...being born to Guatemalan parents and never visiting Guatemala till this year was an extremely amazing experience!!..One of the most memorable things in Guatemala is Tikal...Those ruins are amazingly tall and beautiful. Sitting on top of i think it was pyrimid #4 or #5 and over looking the jungle was truley breath taking. I would recommend anyone who wants to get a taste of Guatemala's history and past to visit Tikal and climb a pyrimid!!

The most incredible place in the world!!! I m so proud to be from Guatemala beautiful places, so much history and the only reason I m not there but here is because I have my family here ...I dont want to go back and be apart from my kids and grandkids but yes Tikal is just amazing and i love it!!!

Guatemala as a country is beautiful and has so much culture you don't know what to do with yourself, but to go where ancient mayan people lived and roamed is amazing. The grounds are so well preserved and you can just imagine what it was like to be one of those people who lived there many centuries ago. There is so much to see. Not only are the ancient temples cool to look at, but there is the jungle and plenty of wild life to see. I will be visiting there again very soon. I love Guatemala, everything about.

Everything! So spiritual. I am returning to Anigualater this month and have actually been contemplating moving there. It is so clean and refreshing its unbelievable. I would recommend it to anyone needing an escape from a crazy life.
