Moshe's, Mumbai

I've been to Moshe's before and usually its been a good expereince. But their service (usually a little off in any case), was beyond despair this september! First, one waiter asked us to be seated AFTER I told him clearly that I did not have a reservation. Just when we were to order, another man walked up to us and asked me If I had 'asked anyone before taking the table'! When i told him we had, he went back, conferred with his colleague, came back and told us that since we did not have reservations we would have to leave!! And that when it was 12:45 p.m with barely 2 tables occupied! I have never encountered such service anywhere (and I go out a lot). I know I'll never go back there again and would recommend that anyone thinks twice at least as a walk in customer. The food might be good but I would recommend Basilico (Colaba) over Moshe ... at least they are polite to their patrons! And the food is as good and desserts better!
